President Bola Tinubu has tumbled while trying to mount the presidential parade vehicle at Eagle Square, the venue of the June 12 Democracy Day.
As Tinubu was trying to enter the ceremonial vehicle on Wednesday, he missed his steps and fell almost flatly on the vehicle’s floor before his security details got him up.

Democracy Day is a national day set aside to mark Nigeria’s return to civil rule after years of dictatorship. This year’s celebration marks the 25th year of stable democratic system in the country.
It is traditional for the president to move round the venue of the event in a presidential vehicle while greeting guests.
