Joe Ajaero, the Nigeria Labour Congress president, has arrived at the Abattoir Police Office in Abuja on Thursday to honour an invitation for questioning.
The Nigeria Police Force (NPF) had earlier asked Ajaero to appear at the Force headquarters on August 20 to answer questions on possible involvement in terrorism financing, criminal conspiracy, treasonable felony and cybercrime.

The NLC’s Central Working Committee, on Wednesday, issued a circular, mobilising the union members for a march on the police head offices across Nigeria’s 36 states and Abuja.
Ajaero went to the Abattoir Police office in Abuja in the company of lawyers Femi Falana and Deji Adeyanju, and a host of fellow NLC members.
Fisayo Soyombo, FIJ’s founder, had similarly honoured a police invitation in Abuja on August 14. That invitation led to an interrogation which lasted eight hours.
The Nigeria Police Force National Cyber Crime Centre (NPF-NCCC) released Soyombo on bail, with conditions, after what it initially termed an invitation.
