Air Peace has credited Damilola, a Lagos-based journalist, with N153,400 withheld for seven months.
This is barely 48 hours after an EQToday story about Air Peace and Fidelity Bank withholding the journalist’s funds for months.
Damilola’s ordeal started on October 7, when he paid via an ATM from his Access Bank to Air Peace’s Fidelity Bank account to book a roundtrip. He couldn’t fly with the airline company because they could not confirm his payment.

Despite trying all he could to get his money, the issue lingered for the seven months that followed, until EQToday intervened.
“Thank you so much, EQToday, for your intervention. I got my money back, and I appreciate you involving yourself in my matter,” Damilola told EQToday.
He said that a representative from the airline company reached out to him, explaining that the money had always been with the bank but could not be processed by them because he transferred it via an ATM.
