Jude Ilo’s book on social change titled ‘It is imPOSSIBLE: Influencing Change in Nigeria’ is set to be launched in two major cities in Nigeria – Lagos and Abuja – to announce its entry into the market.

Thoughts and Mace (T&M), a policy and third-sector support firm established to ensure that governance in Africa and beyondreflects the best interest of citizens and ordinary people, where Ilo is a founding partner, said on Monday that the book would be officially launched with a keynote speech from Professor Yemi Osinbajo, Nigeria’s former Vice President, on October 14.

T & M explained that the book, an insightful reflection on the complexities of driving societal and policy change in Nigeria, would be soft-launched first in Lagos on October 8.

T & M’s announcement.

“The book ‘It is imPOSSIBLE: Influencing Change in Nigeria‘ by Udo Jude Ilo presents an insightful reflection on the complexitiesof driving societal and policy change in Nigeria,” Thoughts and Mace Advisory said.

“In a country where governance often lags behind citizens’ needs, the book offers a roadmap for change agents, examining the efforts of civil society organizations, activists, and leaders who work tirelessly to improve the lives of Africans despite numerous challenges.”

The soft launch to be held in Lagos, in partnership with Tasck, a creative company, will have conversations revolving around how creatives and civil societies can collaborate and maximise each other’s strengths.

In Abuja, the conversations will culminate in a fireside chat exploring the real possibilities of change in Nigeria and the unique roles of stakeholders in driving it.
