A group of unknown men have met some #EndBadGovernance protesters with threats at the Ikeja Underbridge area of Lagos.
FIJ saw a group of men join the protesters to shut their activities down. They later told FIJ that they did not want violence.
“They should do whatever they want but we don’t want violence,” one of the men said.
“We don’t want any of that here.”

The protesters told these men that they were not going to be violent, but the men refused to leave.
FIJ saw that protesters had already gathered at Ikeja around 7:30 am.
“We are hungry! We are hungry!! Solidarity!!” they chanted.

Akinkunmi Oke, the Area F Divisional Police Officer, cautioned the protesters at Ikeja and told them to relocate the protest to designated locations.

The Government Secretariat in Alausa was the listed location for the protests in Lagos but more protesters have appeared in other parts of the state.
